St Carthage's Background

At St Carthage’s we deliver HCP, CHSP and NDIS and we implemented Sandwai 12 months ago. With limited internal resources, we hired a project officer with an IT background to lead the transition.

How was your implementation experience? Was the project delivered on time?

“The project was implemented on time, and there were no unexpected expenses. Manager and team leaders attended every meeting to understand the system and ask questions as needed, and each department played a key role in keeping things on track.

During the implementation phase, we had weekly Zoom sessions, which were recorded for future reference. These sessions helped the team make sense of the system beyond what’s available in the standard user guides.

We requested that Sandwai develop an additional export for us. This was to support our need for detailed cost centre reporting due to the range of funding streams we manage & Sandwai built this custom export for us.”

Does your team find Sandwai easy to use and navigate?

“Moving from our previous system to Sandwai has proven to be both cost-effective and time-efficient.
Our team finds Sandwai easy to use and navigate, and we’ve set up SCHADS Award rules within Sandwai which we then import into our payroll system.”

How do you find Sandwai's post Go-Live support?

The support has been excellent. As with any software, occasional issues arise. We email Sandwai and usually receive a response within a couple of hours or the same day. They clarify whether the issue is user-related or a system bug and resolve it promptly at no extra cost.

Compared to our experience with our previous system, where updates (like a new NDIS price guide) could cost up to $2,500 and take weeks to implement, Sandwai’s responsiveness and free updates have been a significant improvement. We also maintain regular communication to provide feedback and suggest enhancements.
